- November 23-25 (Thanksgiving Nov 26-27 excluded)
- December 21-24 (Christmas Day Dec 25 excluded)
- December 28-31
- Job Setting: Hospital and In-Office Clinic; 268-bed facility
- Types of Cases: Cardiac electrophysiology with focus on heart rhythm disturbances; hospital consults 3-4 per day; EP cases 4-6 per day depending on case length; left-sided ablations; TEEs; moderate sedation
- Patient Population: Adults
- Patients Per Day: 20-22 (clinic); 3-4 hospital consults plus 4-6 EP cases
- EMR: Cerner (mandatory remote training, approx. 4 hours, the week prior to start)
- Technology: Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System
- Credentialing: 30-day credentialing timeframe; completed applications due within 7 days of receipt; AZ license or proof of application required before credentialing materials are released
- Orientation: 4 hours
- Overtime: 1.5x normal rate after scheduled shift
- Holiday Rate: 1.5x normal rate – New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification or Board Eligibility required
- Certifications: ACLS
- Licensure: Active Arizona license required; okay to license; AZ DEA registration required
- Minimum Experience: 1 year
- Case Logs: Must demonstrate a minimum of 100 EP cases in the last 2 years with emphasis on ablations
- Special Skills: Must be comfortable performing moderate sedation independently; proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System; TEEs
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
- Flu Vaccine: Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
