Physician – Cardiology – Cardiac Electrophysiology in Minnesota

Are you an Electrophysiology (EP) physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Minnesota might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour day with unpaid 30-minute lunch). No call. No holidays. Must be available for two Mon-Fri stretches per month beginning September. Longer-term assignments only; initial commitment of at least 6 months.
  • Job Setting: Clinic and EP Lab/OR Hybrid. Approximately 60-70% clinic, 30-40% procedural. 2-4 exam rooms in clinic, 2 EP labs and OR hybrid.
  • Types of Cases: AFib ablations and all other EP procedures. No VT, PVC ablations, or extractions.
  • Patient Encounters Per Shift: 12 on clinic days; 3-4 on lab days.
  • Start Date: September 1, 2026 – Ongoing
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required.
  • Certifications: Fellowship training required (minimum 3 years).
  • Licensure: Minnesota state licensure required, will consider IMLC
  • Experience: At least 2 years of post-fellowship EP experience required.
  • EMR: Current Epic experience required (within the last 12 months).
