Physician – Cardiology in Washington

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: September 7-13, 2026 (with potential for ongoing, consistent coverage). Inpatient onsite days 7:00 AM-5:30 PM; night pager call 5:00 PM-7:00 AM on some nights (not every night). Provider must be able to work both the inpatient shift AND night call. OT applies after 10 hours per day.
  • Job Setting: Inpatient
  • Types of Cases:
    • Inpatient Cardiology (Required)
    • ICU (Required)
    • Echocardiography (Required)
    • TEE – Transesophageal Echo (Required)
    • Nuclear Cardiology – Cardiolyte, Thallium, etc. (Required)
    • Non-invasive Cardiology (Required)
    • Rounding: Assigned and Unassigned Patients
    • Patients Per Shift: 15-18
    • Admissions Required
  • Call: Beeper call; covers both inpatient and outpatient call needs. Call response time: 20 minutes. Phone consults available.
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days. Temporary privileges available. All locum providers must go through the site's temporary privileges process — must have a clean file. Facility will not reimburse licensing costs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required (Internal Medicine – Cardiology)
  • Certifications: Fellowship: Level 2 required
  • Licensure: Active WA, will consider IMLC
