Physician – Cardiology – Interventional in Louisiana

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Full time, minimum 3 weeks per month; Clinic Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Hospital rotation every 5-6 weeks; Start Date: 12/1/2026, Ongoing
  • Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient (Clinic); Multiple locations
  • Types of Cases: Invasive cardiology; Inpatient care and rounding; Consultations; Multidisciplinary rounds; Communication with referring providers; Reading all hospital diagnostic studies during service week; On-site clinic visits; Reviewing diagnostic studies; Follow-up communication with patients; Care coordination with imaging/testing teams; Panel of patients to follow; Physician will supervise Physician Assistants as locum tenens supervising physician
  • Credentialing: Estimated 120 days; PCF and COI must provide 100% coverage with no gaps and align with the same dates; Long-term commitment preferred

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: ACLS required; Fellowship required (3)
  • Licensure: Active supervising license required; must be added as a locum tenens supervising physician for Physician Assistants
