Physician – Cardiology – Interventional in Nebraska

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 2 weeks of every month beginning in July; Monday through Friday inpatient rounds and clinic; Saturday and Sunday inpatient rounds; 1:3 call
  • Job Setting: 175-bed hospital system; clinic 8-4 Monday through Friday (on days not covering inpatient service); EMR – EPIC
  • Types of Cases: Inpatient rounds (average census 8-10 weekdays, 6-7 weekends with APP and Hospitalist assistance); perform add on cath procedures, mainly inpatients, with an average of 8-9/week; must be able to read ECHOs; STEMI call; case volumes include Caths (57/month), EKG's (400/month), Echo's (241/month), Holters (37/month), Peripheral Vascular (35/month), NM (32/month), Cardioversions (4/month)
  • Credentialing: Case logs and CV with work history (name of hospital and month/year) required at time of presentation

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified Interventional Cardiology

  • Licensure: NE license or active IMLC highly preferred
