Physician – Cardiology – Interventional in Pennsylvania

Are you a Cardiology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Pennsylvania might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Sun-Sun 7a-7a; Cath Lab Mon-Fri 7a-5p; 1 provider to cover 6 weekdays (Mon-Fri 7a-7a inpatient cath lab, STEMI and night call) and 1-2 weekends (Fri 5p-Mon 7a) per month
  • Job Setting: Inpatient; providers will be cross credentialed at Memorial and work between both sites
  • Types of Cases: STEMIs, cardiac caths, interventional cardiology (PCI), pulmonary embolism (PE); consult only – Cardiology is not the admitting physician; Hospitalists handle admissions; may be called in 0-4 times throughout a weekend (staff averages ~10 call-ins per month)
  • Credentialing: Providers will be cross credentialed to work between both sites

Minimum Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) license required; NO IMLC accepted; Must be local enough to drive in — radius of no more than 5 hours
