Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 7a 08/10/2026 – 7a 08/17/2026
  • Job Setting: Inpatient; Call Only
  • Types of Cases: STEMI call coverage; consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients and other procedures as credentialed; all ER based
  • Call Details: Beeper call; 30-minute call response time required; call for unassigned patients; volume varies from 0 to a few cases per week
  • EMR System: MediTech
  • Trauma Level: Level 3
  • Cath Lab: Yes – 2 labs; 4 beds in cath lab
  • Other Cardiologists on Staff: Yes – 2 full-time Interventional Cardiologists
  • Orientation: Preferred the day before first day of call; orientation time varies depending on familiarity with MediTech

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required; Board Eligible minimum
  • Certifications: BLS required; Other certification required
  • Licensure: Licensed in West Virginia; will consider IMLC
  • Fellowship: Required (2 years)
  • Credentialing: Estimated 10 days; temporary privileges available
