Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Start date 04/6/2026
  • Job Setting: Hospital, 12 beds in department, Trauma Level 2
  • Types of Cases: ER trauma call with experience in open heart and thoracic. Includes general CV/thoracic surgery (open and endoscopic), coronary artery bypass surgery (on pump and off pump), congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO), valvular repair and replacement, aneurysm repair (cardiac and aorto-thoracic), lung resection (including VATs), chest wall or pleural procedures, esophagus and diaphragm surgeries, permanent pacemaker placement, AICD, left ventricular assist devices, TAVR, CABG, vent management, bronchoscopy, evaluation and management of acute vol/BP issues, insertion of central line, arterial line, PA catheter, and IABP. General vascular surgery (open and endovascular), aneurysm repair (aorto-abdominal), bypass procedures (aorto-femoral/iliac and fem-pop), endarterectomy (carotid, renal, and other), subclavian steal procedure. Average 5 patient encounters per shift
  • Credentialing: Temporary credentials available

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required, Fellowship required (3 years)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Licensure: California state license required (IMLC not accepted)
