Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Full-time with rotating schedule including on-call and weekend duties
- Job Setting: State-of-the-art 1 Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) with academic affiliation
- Types of Cases: Specialized critical care for pediatric cardiac patients with over 400 cardiac surgical cases annually; multidisciplinary collaboration supporting ECMO and congenital heart catheterization programs; care within a dedicated 24-bed tertiary Pediatric ICU and newly opened 30-bed pediatric emergency department; pediatric and neonatal transport services; procedural sedation services; academic activities with UNLV School of Medicine residents
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Pediatric Critical Care OR Pediatric Cardiology with CICU training
- Certifications: DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
- Licensure: Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain
