  • Schedule: Night shift coverage; MDDO Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM; Expected Start: January 2027
  • Job Setting: Emergency Department, Annual Volume: 25,000; EMS Arrivals: 10%; Admit Rate: 7%; Transfer Rate: 3%
  • Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine; 24-Hour MDDO Coverage; 24-Hour NP/PA Coverage
  • EMR: Epic
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeline: 90 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: BC Emergency Medicine preferred; BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine accepted
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required; Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience; Case logs for previous 2 years (2024-2026); CME documentation for previous 2 years (2024-2026)
  • Licensure: Active unrestricted Alabama license; DEA and CDS with Alabama address and Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, and V

Immunization Requirements

  • TB Skin Test within last 12 months
  • TDAP
  • Hepatitis B Titer
  • MMR Titer
  • Varicella Titer
  • Current-season Flu Vaccine
