Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 12-hour physician shifts; 10 shifts per month; Start Date: ASAP (Request Date: 08/13/2026)
- Job Setting: Emergency Department; 333 hospital beds; Annual ED Volume: ~40,000; 18% admission rate; Mid-Level Coverage: 24-hour NP/PA coverage; EMR: Allscripts
- Types of Cases: Broad EM skill set appropriate for a critical access facility; Prior Emergency Medicine experience required
- Credentialing: Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain); DEA with Arkansas address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM; Board Certification not required — non-board-certified providers must demonstrate 2,500 ED hours within the last 5 years and cannot supervise residents
- Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS required; If not EM Board Certified: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Licensure: MD or DO from an accredited medical school; Residency trained in EM, FM, IM, or GS; Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
