Physician – Emergency Medicine in California

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 6a-2p, 8a-4p, 1p-11p (Night shifts required; day-only providers will not be considered)
- Job Setting: 32 beds. Trauma Level 3.
- Types of Cases: Average 110 patients in 24 hours. 24-hour support services available: Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, Laboratory, Neuro-Surgery, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Vascular Surgery. L&D department on-site. No newborn deliveries received in ED.
- Credentialing: Estimated 90 days. 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty required. Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained. Updated CV with all hospital affiliations required during presentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: BC or BE within 5 years
- Certifications: ABEM/ABOEM (will not accept ABIM/ABFM), ACLS, BLS
- Licensure: Active CA license required. IMLC not accepted.
