Physician – Emergency Medicine in Indiana

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Night shifts only; 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM or 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. 10-hour shifts available if preferred (must be indicated at presentation). Candidates who can cover 5-7 consecutive days at a time are preferred.
  • Job Setting: 100% Inpatient
  • Types of Cases: Inpatient hospital coverage. Required procedures include: Breast Cyst Aspiration, Central Venous Pressure Catheterization, Endotracheal Intubation (20 cases within past 24 months required), Lumbar Puncture, Nasal Hemostatic Packing (Anterior & Posterior), Paracentesis, Suprapubic Bladder Aspiration, Thoracentesis, and Moderate Sedation. Supporting procedure logs required.

Additional Information

  • Location: 600 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47710
  • Flexibility: Locum must remain flexible with shift coverage needs. The facility will utilize the locum based on its coverage needs and the dates the locum is available.
  • Note: Candidates must be submitted to both locations for consideration: Deaconess Gateway (JO-00910) and Deaconess Midtown Hospital (JO-00909).
  • Pay Rate: $375-$450 per hour
