Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Approximately 6-8 shifts/month; shifts are likely consecutive or in blocks.
    • 6p – 6a (Night)
    • 6a – 2p
    • 1p – 9p
    • APC shifts (physician eligible to cover): 9a-9p, 11a-11p
  • Job Setting: Inpatient – Emergency Department
  • Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine; estimated 20,000 visits per year; Hospitalists handle admissions; newborn deliveries received in ED; L&D department on site
  • Coverage Type: No Call
  • Credentialing: Estimated 60 days; temporary privileges available
  • Malpractice Insurance: Provided by Vendor
  • Supervisory Requirements: No supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required; no resident or teaching supervision required

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required; ABEM strongly preferred; new grads welcome
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS (AHA certification required by Marshfield)
  • Licensure: Michigan license required; IMLC not accepted
