Physician – Emergency Medicine in Mississippi

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 24 hours of physician coverage daily
- Job Setting: Emergency Department – Level IV Trauma Center; 10 ED beds; Medium acuity; Annual ED volume: 14,000; EMR: EPIC with Dragon dictation
- Types of Cases: Acute care emergency services
- Credentialing: Must have actual state license board certification in hand, active DEA for the state of Mississippi, and CSR if needed per state in hand. Case logs required for 2 years.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred (EM, IM, or FM). Residents accepted with moonlighting approval.
- Certifications: If not ABEM certified: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required
- Licensure: Active Mississippi state license required; Active DEA for the state of Mississippi required
