Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Full-time, permanent position with fair and balanced shifts; overtime available if desired
  • Job Setting: Sunrise Children’s Hospital – high-volume pediatric emergency department (~55,000 annual visits)
  • Types of Cases: Wide variety of pediatric patient acuity including complex cases managed in collaboration with PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalist teams; bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs; training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired
  • Additional Details: Full scribe coverage provided; child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence; physician-led team with institutional support from Pediatrix; this is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area – relocation may be required; not accepting locum or visa candidates

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Pediatric Emergency Medicine – Required
  • Certifications: Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine – Required; clean malpractice and medical license history – Highly Preferred
  • Licensure: Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain – Required
