Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Full-time, permanent position; rounding in the hospital with call from home
  • Job Setting: The Children’s Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital, Summerlin, NV (Las Vegas suburb); 34-bed pediatric floor with an average daily census of 24; 12-bed PICU covered by affiliated Pediatric Intensivists; NICU and newborn nursery managed by affiliated neonatology team
  • Types of Cases: Inpatient pediatric hospitalist; full pediatric subspecialty support and a dedicated Pediatric ED; academic affiliation with opportunities to teach pediatric residents and medical students
  • Credentialing: NV license (or willing to obtain); DEA must be obtained prior to start; CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine; candidates with lapsed Board Certification will not be accepted
  • Certifications: DEA; CSR/CDS
  • Licensure: Nevada license (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience: At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience required; must be able to provide last 12 months’ worth of case logs from a hospital setting at interview
  • Additional Notes: Not accepting visa candidates (J1 or H1B); not accepting locum candidates; relocation to the immediate local area may be required
