  • Assignment Dates: ASAP – January 29, 2027
  • Schedule:
    • 8–10 shifts per month (days and nights); urgent need is for nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Ada Shift Times:
      • 6a – 6p
      • 11a – 11p / 12p – 12a (AP Shifts, sometimes filled with physician)
      • 6p – 6a
    • Ardmore Shift Times:
      • 6a – 4p
      • 7a – 6p
      • 11a – 11p (AP Shift, sometimes filled with physician)
      • 4p – 3a
      • 6p – 6a
    • No guaranteed hours over 8; OT begins after confirmed shift has been worked (e.g., 8, 10, or 12-hour shift)
    • Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
  • Job Setting: Outpatient / Emergency Department
  • Practice Setting: No Call; Admissions not required
  • EMR System: Epic (all Mercy locations)
  • Trauma Level: Level 3
  • ED Beds: 17 (Ardmore)
  • Patients Per Shift: 20–25
  • Annual ED Volume: Approximately 40,000 per year (Ardmore)
  • Admission Rate: 15% (both locations)
  • Types of Cases/Procedures: Standard emergency medicine procedures including central lines, intubations, and similar; 15% admission rate
  • Consultants Available: Cardiology, nephrology, surgery, podiatry, orthopedics, pediatrics, urology, tele-neurology, hospitalists
  • 24-Hour Support Services Available: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR, Radiology
  • Support Staff: RNs (6), MAs (3), PA/NPs (1–2), Office Staff (2)
  • Supervision Required: No APP or resident/teaching supervision required
  • Multiple Providers Accepted: Yes
  • Malpractice Insurance: Provided by vendor
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days; temporary privileges not available
  • Availability Requirement: Providers must submit availability through 2026 at time of bid submission

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required; must be ER residency trained and board certified (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine will not be accepted)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
  • Licensure: Active Oklahoma license required, will consider IMLC
  • Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges: Required
  • Fellowship: Required
