Physician – Emergency Medicine in Pennsylvania

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p or 7p-7a (night shift coverage needed, must be willing to work any shift as needed including mid-level shift times)
  • Job Setting: Emergency Department at two sites (Bedford and Altoona)
  • Types of Cases: Seeing patients in the ED. Procedures include intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, I and D, and other procedures within the scope of an emergency medicine residency trained physician
  • Credentialing:

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency and be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine or truly Board Eligible
  • Certifications: Stroke Certified. ATLS, ACLS, BLS and PALS not required as long as board certification requirements are met
  • Licensure: Minimum of 2 years Emergency Medicine Experience
