Physician – Emergency Medicine in Pennsylvania

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Night shift – 5 days on/5 days off, 10pm-7am (9 hour shifts with 1 hour overlap for transition). Minimum availability to be considered: 2-3 days a week
- Job Setting: Emergency room with full nursing staff. Emergency room sees on average 1-2 patients arrive per hour during nights
- Types of Cases: Moderate sedation, central lines, bedside ultrasound, nasotracheal intubation, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, rapid sequence intubation, minor laceration repairs, splinting. ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Cath Lab all available. Tele Stroke available. Hospital has ICU and pediatric unit
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must be BC/BE EM trained physicians or have 5 years of full-time experience (4000 hours) in Emergency Medicine with a volume of at least 15,000 patients annually. Must demonstrate evaluation and treatment of at least 1000 cases in the Emergency Department in the last 2 years
- Licensure: Active PA
