Physician – Emergency Medicine in Texas

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 18-20 patient encounters per shift
  • Job Setting: Hospital System – Emergency Department (9 beds, Level 4 Trauma, Level 0 Pediatrics)
  • Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine including:
    • Emergency Department: Newborn deliveries received (no L&D department on-site)
    • 24-hour availability: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology
    • Gynecology: Well woman care, prenatal care
    • Obstetrics: Vaginal deliveries
    • Pediatrics: All age groups from newborn to adolescent (birth-18 years), newborn care, newborn resuscitation, general outpatient and inpatient
  • Credentialing: 60 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified required
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
  • Licensure: Texas license (IMLC not accepted)
