  • Job Setting: 183-bed acute care facility; Level III Trauma Center; 13-bed Emergency Department (8 regular rooms, 2 negative-pressure rooms, 2 trauma rooms, 1 cardiac room)
  • Annual ED Volume: 24,500 visits

  • Types of Cases: Emergency care, weight-loss surgery, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, women's health services, cancer care, chest pain
  • Specialty Support: Cath Lab, CT Scan, ICU, MRI, Physical Therapy, Behavioral Management/Psychiatry, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Urology, Trauma Services (complex pediatric transfers referred to Corpus Christi or San Antonio)
  • Accreditation: The Joint Commission accredited; Chest Pain Center recognized by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care

  • Schedule: 24-hour Physician Coverage (12-hour shifts); 12-20 Hours NP/PA Coverage (10-12 hour shifts)
  • Job Setting: 14-bed freestanding Emergency Department
  • Annual ED Volume: 26,000 patient visits
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Types of Cases: 24-hour Emergency Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Services, Ambulance Services, Emergency Treatment
  • Specialty Support: 24-Hour Lab Services, Radiology, CT

Doctors Hospital of Laredo Emergency Room Saunders

  • Schedule: 24-hour Physician Coverage (12-hour shifts); 20-hour APP Coverage (10-hour shifts)
  • Job Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department; 9-bed ED with 5 sub-waiting spaces (4 recliners and 1 stretcher)
  • Annual ED Volume: 26,000 visits
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Types of Cases: 24-hour emergency medical care, diagnostic laboratory services, radiology services including X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound
  • Radiology Services: X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound

ER Wright Ranch

  • Schedule: 24-hour Physician Coverage (12-hour shifts)
  • Job Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department; 9 Exam Rooms and 1 Trauma Room
  • Annual ED Volume: 9,000 patient visits
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Types of Cases: Stroke, heart attack, abdominal pain, back pain, cuts and lacerations, sprains, broken bones, infections
  • Diagnostic Services: Laboratory, X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified
  • Certifications: ATLS Required, ACLS Required, PALS Required, DEA Certification
  • Licensure: Current Texas Medical License
