Physician – Gastroenterology in Missouri

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7a-7a, 5-11 shifts per month through end of 2026. Specific dates available for January 2026 through June 2026.
- Job Setting: Hospital call coverage (ED and clinic call), 12 bed department, Level 3 Trauma Center, Level 2 Pediatrics
- Types of Cases: 0-6 patient encounters per shift. Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices; diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; PEG placement; esophageal dilatation/manometry; small bowel biopsy; lower GI endoscopy; flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy; colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision; liver biopsy; insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube. ERCP and EUS not required.
- Credentialing: 30-90 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS. Fellowship required.
- Licensure: Missouri license only
