Physician – Gastroenterology in Montana

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 4-day work week; 1 day of procedures, remaining days clinic work. No call. No hospital coverage. Position available ASAP and ongoing until permanent position is filled.
- Job Setting: Outpatient
- Types of Cases:
- Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, PEG)
- Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
- Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible and Rigid)
- Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
- Liver Biopsy
- Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days. Temporary privileges are not available.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required. Fellowship training required (3 years).
- Certifications: ABLS, BLS
- Licensure: Montana state license required. IMLC not accepted. Facility will not reimburse for licensing costs.
