Physician – Gastroenterology in Wisconsin

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 8am-5pm with call every night 5pm-8am including weekends (no 24 hour call shifts). In need of coverage on the following dates: July 14 at 0800, July 31 at 0800, August 21 at 0800- August 28 at 0800 (or any 7 days in Aug.), October 5 at 0800-October 12 at 0800, November 14 at 0800-November 26 at 0800, December 21 at 0800-January 1 at 0800
  • Job Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level 2, Pediatric Level 2
  • Types of Cases: 13-14 patient encounters per shift. Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices; ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic); PEG; Esophageal dilatation/manometry; Esophageal manometry interpretation; Small Bowel biopsy; Lower GI endoscopy; Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp. Procedures on pediatric patients 13 years and older and over 65 kg required.
  • Credentialing: 60 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum
  • Licensure: Wisconsin state license or willing to license.
