Physician – Hospitalist in Mississippi

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 7-on/7-off scheduling. Day shifts available: 7a-5p or 8a-6p. Night shift: 7p-7a
- Job Setting: 260-bed hospital with FM Residency, Closed ICU. EMR: EPIC
- Types of Cases: Hospitalist coverage with round robin admissions. HM Physicians respond to Codes and RRTs. No procedures required for HM. Required to be a supervising or backup physician for NPs and PAs. Moderate Sedation required
- Credentialing: Must have actual state license, board certification in hand, and active DEA for the state of application and CSR if needed per state in hand
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: BC or BE in IM, FM, AOBIM or AOMFM
- Certifications: ACLS required. COVID preferred, FLU required or acceptable exclusion
- Licensure: Active unrestricted MS medical license and DEA with MS address & Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5
