Hospitalist Opportunity – Brattleboro, VT

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule:
    • 7-10 shifts per month;
    • 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p; can be broken into 2 blocks;
    • Weekend coverage expected;
    • No on-call required
  • Job Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based; small community hospital 
  • Types of Cases:
    • 100% adult inpatient/observation population;
    • 15-20 patients per day;
    • Split patient load with experienced NP on weekdays;
    • Respond to codes and rapid responses;
    • Management of step-down level patients;
    • Level 3 trauma capabilities;
    • No procedures required
    • EMR: Cerner Community Works

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible:
    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist work experience required;
    • 1-2 years of hospitalist or comparable inpatient/adult medicine experience required
  • Certifications: Board Certified
  • Licensure:
    • Vermont state license required (or willingness to obtain);
    • clean background with no malpractice or license issues required;
    • NPDB report required at offer (within 30 days)
