Physician – Hospitalist – Pediatric in New Mexico

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Call Only (In-House); 12-Hour In-House Call shifts (billed hourly), 7am-7pm; Dates of Need: 10/8/2026-10/20/2026
  • Job Setting: Inpatient
  • Types of Cases: Pediatric Hospitalist coverage; approximately 5 patients per shift; 60-bed department; skills required include non-invasive ventilation management, pediatric ventilation management (acute & chronic), intubation (newborn & pediatric), central line, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture, EKG interpretation, and circumcision
  • Credentialing: Estimated 60-90 days; temporary privileges not available; provider must commit to turning around application within one week of receiving it; DEA required

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency; Fellowship required
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS
  • Licensure: Active NM license required; IMLC not accepted
