Physician – Neonatal – Perinatal Medicine in Massachusetts

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule:
    • July 9: Onsite shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    • July 10: Full 24-hour onsite coverage
    • July 14: Onsite shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call coverage
    • July 16: Full 24-hour onsite coverage
  • Job Setting: Hospital System 
  • Types of Cases:
    • Pediatrics – including ventilation management (newborn & pediatric), intubation (ETT/NT), conscious and deep sedation, central lines, arterial lines, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, needle pneumothorax decompression, X-ray and EKG interpretation, exchange transfusion, suturing minor lacerations, circumcision, swallow studies
    • Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine – including Nursery Level II/III NICU, invasive and non-invasive ventilation management, nitric oxide (iNO), ECMO, chest tube insertion, exchange transfusions, hemodialysis catheter placement, evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues, insertion of central lines, arterial lines and PA catheters, diagnostic/therapeutic taps (lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis), circumcision, attendance at all C-sections and high-risk C-sections
  • Credentialing: Estimated 90 days; Fellowship required (2)

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: PALS required
  • Licensure: Active Massachusetts
