  • Schedule: Start Date: September 14, 2026 – End Date: September 18, 2026; Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call; Call Type: Beeper; Call Response Time: 15 minutes; Call Ratio: 1:1
  • Job Setting: Inpatient – NICU (Level III); 10 beds in department; 3-5 patients per shift; Admissions required
  • Types of Cases: Rounding on assigned and unassigned patients; Nursery Level III/NICU; Ventilation management (invasive ETT, non-invasive BiPAP/CPAP, nitric oxide/iNO); Chest tube insertion; Exchange transfusions; Hemodialysis catheter placement; Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter insertion; Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues; Lumbar puncture; Paracentesis; Thoracentesis; Attend high-risk C-sections; Non-invasive ventilation management (neo-puff); Intubation (ETT/NT – Newborn required, Pediatric preferred); Arterial lines; UVC; UAC; Needle pneumothorax decompression; X-ray interpretation; EKG interpretation; Suturing minor lacerations; EMR: Cerner
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 7 days; Temporary privileges available; Fellowship: 3 years; Malpractice insurance provided by vendor

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: PALS required
  • Licensure: Licensed in Mississippi or IMLC
