Physician – Nephrology – Pediatric in Pennsylvania

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: .5 FTE, minimum one week but ideally two weeks per month. On-call week runs Monday 7 am to following Monday 7 am. Outpatient clinic hours Monday-Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm. During on-call week, minimum of five outpatients per day at clinic plus availability for inpatient rounds/consults. Typically 70% inpatients and 30% outpatients.
- Job Setting: Hospital (189 beds) and Outpatient Clinic
- Types of Cases: Management and Treatment of Bartter's Syndrome (preferred), Fabry Disease (preferred), Fanconi Syndrome (preferred), Hemolytic-uremic Syndrome (preferred), Hepatorenal Syndrome (preferred), Renal Transplant (preferred). Procedures: Hemodialysis (required), Percutaneous Renal Biopsy (preferred), Peritoneal Dialysis acute/chronic (preferred), Needle biopsy of the kidney (preferred). EEG Reads at Reading Hospital (required). Intubation Newborn and Pediatrics (required).
- Credentialing: 60-90 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum, Board Certified required
- Certifications: PALS
- Licensure: PA License, will consider IMLC
