Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, day and night; ASAP start, ongoing end date
  • Job Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient; covering ED, Stroke Program, and Inpatient Consults (No Clinic)
  • Types of Cases: ED and Stroke Program coverage, Inpatient consults; Call Only (Beeper call, covering both inpatient and outpatient); Admissions not required
  • Credentialing: Hospital/surgery center privileges required; temporary privileges available; estimated credentialing timeframe not specified; malpractice insurance provided by vendor

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Licensure: Georgia state license required; IMLC not accepted

Preferred Skills

  • Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
  • Diagnostic/therapeutic taps (including lumbar puncture, subdural taps, and other)
  • Thrombolytic therapy
  • Nerve and muscle biopsy
  • EEG (Electroencephalogram)
  • Brain death exam
  • EMG (Electromyogram)
  • NCV (Nerve Conduction Velocity tests)
  • Evoked potentials
  • Pain management procedures
  • Peripheral nerve blocks
  • Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks
  • Botulinum toxin administration (Botox)
  • Sleep studies
  • Disability evaluation
