Physician – Neurology in Hawaii

Are you a NeuroHospitalist searching for your next exciting locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in Honolulu, Hawaii might just be the opportunity for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Alternating blocks of 7 12-hour shifts – 7 on/7 off
  • Job Setting: Inpatient day and night shifts. Schedule TBD.
  • Neuro hospitalist duties (Inpatient Consult) and Primary Stroke Service Attending service is scheduled in weekly blocks
  • Call Requirements: N/A
  • Lumbar Puncture is a required procedure.
  • Telemedicine may be scheduled to assist other system as well as other facilities on neighboring islands.
  • Credentialing: Typically 3 months. Can rush privileging for candidates with clean histories and active licensure.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

  • Board Certification required – Neurology
  • Licensure: Hawaii – Active preferred, VISTA will obtain license for the right candidate. IMLC now available in Hawaii.
