Physician – Obstetrics / Gynecology – Hospitalist in Washington

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Full-time preferred (five days per week, four weeks per month); minimum commitment of two weeks on/two weeks off acceptable. Start Date: ASAP, ongoing assignment.
- Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; includes outpatient clinic, hospital operating room, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), and limited backup hospital call coverage. No Call (primary coverage type).
- Types of Cases:
- Low and high risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB Ultrasounds (performance and interpretation)
- Routine deliveries: vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
- Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
- Approximately 3,000 deliveries per year
- 20 patients per shift
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days. Temporary privileges are not available. Fellowship preferred (2 years). Providers must complete an OB/GYN Skills Checklist — must be attached to bid prior to submission. Malpractice insurance provided by vendor.
- EMR System: Epic
- Facility: Kadlec Clinic Associated Physicians for Women, Providence St. Joseph Health — Richland, WA (Level II Trauma Center)
- Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
- Housing: Pre-approval required for long-term housing; budget for region is $3,000 per month
- Compensation: Maximum bill rate of $450/hour; overtime paid after 40 hours worked per week
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: BLS required
- Licensure: Active Washington State license required (IMLC not accepted). DEA registration required. Minimum three years post-training experience required (or two years plus fellowship training).
