Physician – Obstetrics / Gynecology in California

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 3-4 days per week; 9:00am-4:00pm (or 8:30am start if preferred); guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 8 hours; on call 3-4 days per week (weekday call 5:00pm-7:00am or weekend call 7:00am-7:00am)
- Job Setting: Clinic and hospital coverage for deliveries
- Types of Cases: 18-20 patient encounters per shift; low and high risk pregnancy; routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs); repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations; office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP); surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major)
- Credentialing: 90 days; June start anticipated
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Licensure: Active CA license and CA DEA; case logs required for hospital coverage credentialing
