Physician – Obstetrics / Gynecology in California

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: August 20, 2026 – August 31, 2026
  • Job Setting: Inpatient; Call Only (Beeper Call)
  • Types of Cases:
    • Low risk pregnancy
    • High risk pregnancy (preferred)
    • FHR interpretation – NST/CST/FSE
    • OB Ultrasounds – performance and interpretation (Level I/II preferred)
    • Routine delivery – vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
    • Complicated delivery – C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
    • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
    • Office/minor gynecology – IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
    • Surgical gynecology – open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
    • Average deliveries per year: approximately 90
  • Call Details:
    • Call Type: Beeper
    • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
    • Call Ratio: 1:1
    • Call Back: 100%
    • Phone Consults per shift: 2
    • Patients Seen per shift: 2
    • Admissions per shift: 1

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS – Required
    • BLS – Required
    • PALS – Required
    • Fellowship – Required
  • Licensure: Active California medical license required, will consider IMLC
  • Credentialing: Estimated timeframe of 90 days; temporary privileges available; facility will reimburse licensing costs
