Physician – Obstetrics / Gynecology in Montana

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p (includes a 1 hour break). 8 hour daily guarantee, OT applies after 10 hours. No call required. No weekends required. No holidays.
  • Job Setting: OB/GYN outpatient clinic office consults. OB Generalist supported by Hospitalist Model. Comprehensive team: REI, MFM, Gyn/Onc, Uro/Gyn. 24/7 MFM support. State-of-the-art Family Birth Center. Level III NICU with new private rooms. Maternal flight team for aeromedical transport. Magnet recognized for nursing excellence since 2006. Mayo Clinic Care Network provides clinical resources and direct access. Trauma Level 1 facility.
  • Types of Cases: Average 19 patient encounters per shift. Low risk pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation – NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds – Performance of, interpretation (Level I/Screening viability and Level II/Targeted anatomic), routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-section), complicated delivery (c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBAC's), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, office/minor gynecology – IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc., surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only – tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, operative/major including diagnostic – ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's).
  • Credentialing: 90 days

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Licensure: Montana state license
