Physician – Obstetrics / Gynecology in North Carolina

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: 24-hour call only, 7a-7a. Urgent coverage needed for August 27, 2026 (0700) through August 31, 2026 (0700), and August 14, 2026 (0700) through October 5, 2026 (0700). Ongoing thereafter.
  • Job Setting: Inpatient
  • Types of Cases: OB/GYN call coverage including low and high risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs), FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II), decision-making for C-section, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, and operative/major including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's). Approximately 276 deliveries per year. No clinic. Call ratio 1:3.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
  • Licensure: Active North Carolina license required (IMLC not accepted). Clean history required for emergency privileges.
  • Credentialing: Estimated 30-90 days; temporary privileges available
  • Fellowship: Required
