Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board certification not required
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS
  • Licensure: Active Texas

Facility Information

  • Trauma Level: 4
  • PEDS Level: 1
  • Fellowship: 2

Required Skills

  • Low risk pregnancy
  • FHR interpretation – NST/CST/FSE
  • OB Ultrasounds – Performance of, interpretation
  • Routine delivery
  • Vaginal delivery
  • Decision-making for c-section

Preferred Skills

  • High risk pregnancy
  • Level I/Screening (viability) ultrasounds
  • Level II/Targeted (anatomic) ultrasounds
  • Amniocentesis
  • Low forceps
  • Complicated delivery
  • C-section
  • Breech
  • Multiple births
  • Abruptions
  • VBAC's
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Operative/major surgical gynecology – ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
