Physician – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in Illinois

Are you an Oncology/Hematology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Illinois might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Regular clinic hours Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, on call 4pm-8am weekdays, 24-hour call on weekends (inhouse call)
- Job Setting: Small clinic with infusion center
- Types of Cases: New patient Oncology/Hematology referrals, acute leukemia, malignant hematology, inpatient consults (hospitalist admits new patients, locum provides consultation and initiates transfers if needed). No BMT or BMB required. Average 1-2 patients per day on weekend call.
- Credentialing: 60-90 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: BLS
- Licensure: IL state license required, will consider IMLC
