Physician – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in Michigan

We’re seeking two dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physicians to join a well established, high demand cancer program in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This employed role offers strong clinical support, modern infusion and clinic space, multi site practice options, and a highly competitive compensation package that includes a $300,000 start up bonus. Sault Ste. Marie provides a scenic waterfront lifestyle with year round recreation, historic charm, and easy access to the Upper Peninsula’s most iconic natural attractions.

  • Established, busy practice with experienced clinic and infusion teams
  • New infusion department and clinic space within the last year
  • Strong collaboration with regional radiation oncology partners
  • Broad clinical practice: 85% outpatient / 15% inpatient
  • Multi site model with coverage in:
  • Sault Ste. Marie (primary inpatient site)
  • Newberry (1 day/week)
  • St. Ignace (4 days/week; option to live in St. Ignace and make it your primary clinic)
  • All three locations offer infusion services
  • Weekly tumor board with access to Michigan Medicine specialists
  • Traditional Monday–Friday schedule, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
