Physician – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in Pennsylvania

Are you a Hematology Oncology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Pennsylvania might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch); Call 1:3 — provider will be on call for the entire week via phone and in person at the hospital for hem/onc consults
  • Job Setting: Outpatient clinic + hospital (for call/consults)
  • Types of Cases: 15 outpatients per day in clinic + APP supervision; Hematology/Oncology consults during call
  • Credentialing: Active PA license highly preferred; will consider providers who need a license and/or have IMLC in hand

Additional Details

  • 1 provider needed to cover 5 days/week + call
  • Minimum availability to be considered: 2 weeks per month
  • Highly prefers local and/or drive-in candidates — will only compensate one flight per month
  • Provider must be available full-time on an ongoing basis for one year
  • Provider must be able to take call in addition to regular day shifts

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must be Board Certified in Medical Oncology
  • Certifications:
  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania license highly preferred; will consider providers who need a license and/or have IMLC in hand
