Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 8-10 hours per day pending patient volumes. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week. Start Date: 9/8/2026 | End Date: 10/30/2026
- Job Setting: Outpatient
- Types of Cases: Hematology and Oncology; 12-15 patients per day (established patients). Call is beeper only for assigned/established patients; very light call, 2-5 phone consults per week. Oncology center has 3 additional established permanent providers. Facility is currently searching for a full-time Medical Oncologist.
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days. Temporary privileges available. Hospital privileges required. EMR System: Aria. Nearest Airport: GSO / RDU – drive-in preferred. Apartment available.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required. Fellowship required (3 years).
- Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS
- Licensure: Must be licensed in Virginia only. IMLC not accepted.
