Physician – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in Wisconsin

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch; overtime applies after a 9-hour day. On-call: 1:4 weekly hospital call, Friday 0730-Friday 0730. Rounding 1-2 hours each day Monday-Sunday; weekday afternoon rounding 4:00-5:00 PM.
  • Job Setting: Hospital-based clinic; Trauma Level 2 
  • Types of Cases: Hematology/Oncology (no medical oncology). Patient encounters include bone marrow biopsies, supervision of chemo clinic patients, covering acute leukemia and inpatient chemo patients, post-Autologous Stem Cell Transplant, and post-CAR-T cell therapy patients. Add-on consults and shared weekday clinic call. 15 patient encounters per shift.
  • Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days. Fellowship required (minimum 3 years). Provider must utilize “real time” Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required (minimum Board Eligible)
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
  • Licensure: Wisconsin license required
