Physician – Oncology – Hematology / Oncology in Wisconsin

Are you an Internal Medicine – Hematology and Oncology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Wisconsin might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch (OT applies after 9-hour work day); shared call nights and weekends. Prefer full time but would consider providers available 2-3 weeks/month. Start Date: 10/1/2026 | End Date: 3/31/2027
  • Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; Community-based Cancer Center (MMC-Eau Claire Cancer Center)
  • Types of Cases: Hematology/Oncology patients; ambulatory and hospital patient consults; bone marrow biopsies (preferred); 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo infusion chairs; radiation oncology services on site. Approximately 15 patients per shift.
  • Credentialing: Estimated 60-day credentialing timeframe. Temporary privileges available. Hospital privileges required. EMR: Cerner. Provider must utilize “real time” Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified preferred
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS required. Fellowship: 3 years required.
  • Licensure: Wisconsin license required (IMLC not accepted; facility will not reimburse licensing costs)
