  • Job Setting: Inpatient | Call Only (Beeper) | EMR: Epic | Trauma Level 1 Facility
  • Types of Cases:
    • Patients Seen: 10-20 per shift
    • Admissions: Consults
    • Call Response Time: 10 minutes
    • Call Back Rate: 10%
    • Rounding: Assigned and Unassigned Patients
    • Complete Eyelid Laceration Repair – Required
    • Ruptured Globe Repair (Perforating Injury of the Eye) – Required
    • Non-Surgical Ophthalmology – Required
    • Surgical/Invasive – Required
    • Non-Surgical/LASER Procedures – Required
    • Laser – Anterior Segment: Required
    • Laser – YAG: Required
    • Extracapsular Extraction – Preferred
    • Performance B-Scan – Preferred
  • Credentialing: Estimated 90-120 Days | Temporary privileges available | Facility will reimburse licensing costs

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified Required | Fellowship: Required (2)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Licensure: Must be licensed in Georgia (GA) only | IMLC not accepted
