Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Call: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM | Dates: 8/5 – 8/10 (provider must work the full stretch of open dates; partial dates will not be considered)
  • Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient | 209 beds in the department
  • Types of Cases: General Otolaryngology (Surgical and Non-Surgical), Endoscopic Procedures (Septal, Sinus, Bronchoscopy – Flexible and Rigid, Laryngoscopy), Tracheotomy, Thyroidectomy, Extended Parotidectomy, Radical Neck Surgery, Facial Reconstruction, Facial Surgery (Facial Implants, Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty), Complex Head and Neck, General Head and Neck | Patients ages 18 and up | Call coverage for both assigned and unassigned patients | Average patients seen while on call: 0-3 | Call response time: 15-20 minutes | Rounding required for both assigned and unassigned patients | Admissions required | EMR: Athena / Cerner | Stroke Certified facility
  • Credentialing: 120-180 days | Temporary privileges granted | Active California state license required (IMLC/compact license not accepted)

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: BLS required | ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS also listed as requirements per facility notes | Provider must have 50 case logs within the past 24 months | Fellowship required
  • Licensure: Active California state license required (IMLC/compact license not accepted)
