  • Job Setting: Inpatient – Acute Psychiatric Unit; 10-bed department

    • Affective disorders
    • ADD/ADHD
    • Personality disorders
    • Psychotic disorders
    • Eating disorders (preferred)
    • Developmental disorders (preferred)
    • Organic disorders (preferred)
    • Involuntary commitments
    • Seclusion therapy
    • Restraint application
    • Pharmacotherapy
    • Follow-up to new evaluation ratio: 8:3
  • Patients Per Shift: 6-10 assigned patients
  • Admissions Required: Yes (2-5 admissions per call)
  • Call Details:
    • Call Type: Beeper
    • Call Coverage: Both inpatient and outpatient
    • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
    • Call Ratio: 1:1
    • Call Back Rate: 0-5%
    • Phone Consults: 5-10

Credentialing

  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 15-30 days
  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
  • Fellowship Required: Yes (3 years)

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications:
    • BLS: Required
    • PALS: Required
  • Licensure: Must be licensed in Ohio, will consider IMLC
