Physician – Psychiatry – Child & Adolescent in Ohio

Are you a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Ohio might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Block schedule 7 on / 7 off, Monday to Monday. Target start date 8/17/2026 or week of 8/31. Ongoing engagement. 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM onsite coverage with evening beeper call during the 7-day shift. Coverage every day including weekends.
  • Job Setting: Inpatient
  • Types of Cases: Anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders; involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, restraint application; pharmacotherapy. Follow-up to new evaluation ratio: 8:3. Patients per shift: 6-10. Admissions: 2-5 per call period.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
  • Certifications: BLS (required), PALS (required)
  • Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) state license required; IMLC not accepted
  • Fellowship: Required (minimum 3 years)
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 15-30 days; temporary privileges available
