Physician – Psychiatry in California

Are you an Adult Psychiatry Physician searching for your next exciting locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in the San Francisco Bay Area, California might just be the opportunity for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: ASAP start, full-time 40+ hours per week, hybrid schedule with 3 onsite days weekly and potential remote work 1-2 days per week; hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM utilizing 8- or 10-hour shifts
  • Job Setting: Correctional/Forensic Behavioral Health leadership role in a county jail setting; hybrid administrative position
  • Types of Cases: Psychiatric program leadership, NP supervision, quality assurance oversight, operations management, scheduling, policy and procedure development, and training facilitation; no direct patient care
  • Credentialing: Approximately 2-4 weeks
